Description	The 1810 text describes the Trigona as spiral-shaped, the folds of the spire triangularly formed and tuberculous. The Planorbis is described as circular & flattened;opening of the mouth depressed, marginated. It resembles the Ionic volute in architecture. The Coloumna's shell is spiral, the top rounded and blunt in its form.

GEORGE WOLFGANG KNORR

The specimens for these suberb images were sourced from the most famous European \"Cabinets of Curiosities\" which featured exotic shells, minerals, fish and animals. Knorr a paleontologist, painter and engraver produced this collection of engarvings in
Nuremberg under the title of Deliciae Naturae Selectae.

This is the very rare folio edition of this highly desirable series.
