BASSET HOUND
Derived from the French Basset Artesian Normand which was imported to England and crossed with the Bloodhound.
BEAGLE

Mentioned in writings dating from 1475. Used to hunt hare in Briatin for centuries.
BLOODHOUND

One of the oldest, purest hound breeds, believed to have come to Britain with William the Conqueror in 1066.
BORZOI

A Russian breed, used for centuries by the Czars for hunting wolves. Has been crossed with sheepdogs and hounds to add strength. The present day strain was developed by the Grand Duke Nicholai Nicholayevitch.
BULLDOG

Descended from the fighting dogs of Ancient Rome, sharing ancestry with the Mastiff and Boxer.
